Boat made maiden voyage after 2 years of dead-time...

This was supposed to be the shortcut way to the province, but AMURT's director and project coordinator with Citragupta (center) had more fun than work that day, but in the evening work came ...

Story:

The infamous test proved to be short and sweet. After thoroughly checking all the circuits and cooling systems, we went off to get to Sources Chaudes. After 30 minutes, we stopped to verify the oil and fuel levels. Suddenly the engine didn't start. Lucky the wind was blowing to the coast and we took 3 hours to reach a fishing village (Cabaret) even though it was hardly a mile away. We were received like Christopher Columbus must have, as at least 500 children and village people spread the news. We landed safely with help from some fishermen and Dharma talked the whole night about filters, Mangroves, yoga and meditation and spent the night there while the other teammembers brought the boatmechanic Calito to rescue the boat te next day. A new battery did the trick, but due to a fuelpipe problem it was a safer bet to get the boat on land.
